Everybody is talking about trauma these days and it is wonderful that finally people are waking up to the fact that major and even seemingly minor emotional injuries can have a lifelong impact if they are not processed appropriately. However, the conversations around this topic appearing online are not always particularly well-informed and I have noticed some confusion regarding particular aspects. Therefore, because emotional trauma is a topic so intimately linked to the heart, I thought it would be useful to have a discussion with an expert on the subject where we get right back to the basics. The person I have chosen to have this chat with is Sarah Davies.

Sarah is an integrative psychotherapist specialising in EMDR trauma therapy and integrative talk therapy. She is highly qualified to discuss the topic of trauma but the reason I particularly wanted to have this conversation with her is that she is so eloquent with her words and has a great skill in explaining complex issues so clearly and with a wonderful down-to-earth manner. This is a topic everyone should know about so I hope you'll enjoy our chat.
