For millennia the energy fields of the body have been a vital consideration when assessing health and treating illness. All across the world traditional cultures have utilised the information to be found within these fields and it is only in recent centuries that this knowledge has been dismissed in the West as modern materialistic medicine has taken over.

 

However, the essential nature of our energy fields (or Biofield) to the functioning of the physical body is once again beginning to be recognised in the West, thanks in part to advancing technology, and one man at the forefront of this resurgence is Thornton Streeter.

 

Thornton, founder of the Centre of Biofield Sciences, has dedicated several decades of his life to researching the body’s biofield and is co-developer of the subtle energy imaging system, the Biofield Viewer. He is passionate about helping others to understand the relevance and importance of our energy fields and he lectures across the world in order to open minds to this subject. Thornton also founded the Energy Medicine Exchange, a meeting hub for those working within or interested in the field of energy medicine.

 

Thornton has accumulated a great deal of knowledge on our energy systems, including the chakras, and has some important ideas regarding the heart’s position and role in this aspect of our being.
