​Original wisdom, more ancient than we can imagine, weaves its way down through time, infiltrating every tradition and civilisation that has ever existed. It finds its way into all languages informing us deeply, and the use of the word 'heart' as the core or centre of something speaks of one of the most profound truths of humanity.
​
In this talk, Liz will delve deep into the ancient mystical teachings of the heart to find that it has always been situated centrally between the earthly and spiritual realms and regarded as our anchor point. It has also always been known as the place where we connect to our Divine nature and from where we have the power to bring our dreams into reality.
In these times of chaos an anchor is just what we need to steady us as we ride the storm. With this in mind, Liz will explain that whilst we have been distracted for many centuries by religious teachings encouraging us to look up and outwards to find salvation, in fact true enlightenment comes when we move inwards and connect with our heart.

About Liz
With a degree in biochemistry and Masters in Nutritional Medicine, Liz has been a health practitioner for over 25 years. After initially focusing her therapeutic work on nutrition, Liz soon realised emotional and spiritual healing were a priority need for her clients and at this point she added to her training and therapy offerings. Liz is an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Matrix Re-imprinting practitioner, Heart Meditation facilitator and HeartMath Coach.
Liz has been a life-long student of spirituality and metaphysics, her interests particularly drawn towards the ‘perennial wisdom’ teachings. She is a member of the Theosophical Society and has gained her Higher Diploma in Theosophy. After completing the coaching programme with HeartMath, Liz became greatly interested in the heart and has spent the last decade incorporating heart-connection into her healing work with clients. Liz is one of the pioneers of the growing ‘heartfulness’ movement and is committed to spreading the word on the healing power of the heart to as many people as possible.​​​​

Exploring the heart's role in disseminating frequencies that heal, a discussion with John Millward
​​​Throughout his journey of discovery, John has learnt much about the energetic nature of the body and has come to regard the heart as the power centre of our energy system. In this discussion, John reveals the role the heart plays in generating and disseminating vibrational information and how this can support our healing. Tuned into the spiritual energies of planet, John also gives his take on the current rapid rise in consciousness that many intuitives speak of.​​

Big Heart Conference
BIGHEART 2023 was the first UK online event to bring together a group of experts on transformation and the heart. Throughout the one-day event the 4 main speakers outlined, each from their own perspective, how connectedness is key as we transition into a new world, and how the heart is fundamental in establishing these connections and revealing our true power. The event was very popular and stimulated lots of wonderful connections and discussion. Video recordings of the speaker's talks are now available to view on the Awakening Heart Collective YouTube channel.
A Celebration of Love
On St Valentine's Day Eve, 13th February 2025, we held an online event celebrating love in its widest form, not just romantic. Included in the evening were a selection of speakers offering their thoughts on love, a breakout session allowing participants to share in smaller groups and a beautiful heart meditation led by Rev Padma Devi Sumananda from the Heart of Living Yoga organisation. Heart Revolution Special Screening
The Heart Revolution is a beautiful film exploring the deeper aspects of the heart, described by the team behind it as a 'poetic documentary to help you and humanity flourish'. Not due for public release until summer 2025, we hosted a special early screening followed by a discussion of the film's themes with its producer, Benedikt Just.
