The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film's producer, Benedikt Just and a group discussion of the film's themes. About the film
The Heart Revolution film taps into a growing desire to understand the heart in a new way as scientists slowly come to appreciate what the mystics have always known; that the heart is much more than just a blood pump. Through interviews with some of the pioneers in this field as well as those who have discovered the deeper meaning of the heart through their life experiences, this documentary takes you on a journey through life, from before our first heartbeat to beyond the last, playfully exploring what our heart is all about.
About the film's producer, Benedikt Just
At age 13, Benedikt felt that his existence had no meaning if he didn't find the deepest secrets of life. After a few years of aiming to become a theoretical physicist and delivering a unified field theory, he began to realise that no amount of knowledge would help him experience the beauty and mystery of life. After a long, dark night of the soul, he explored diverse spiritual traditions and found his heart guiding him beyond Western and Eastern fulfillment paradigms. Finally reaching a mature enough age, he is now beginning to make the findings of his lifelong quest available in films, music, articles and collages. The rest of his life is dedicated to delivering a theory of everything based on a redefinition of the heart and emotions as the primary source and expression of life.
